Open Seas

Only recently, I was told that this was possibly the worst thing to come out yet. I trust that this won't reach paperback.

Open Seas

Watch the waves, greet you and go by again
Watch the birds, telling time with their songs
Watch the trees, with the leaves rustling in tune
Watch yourself, being empty is purity
Watch the lighthouse, twirling and singing the same songs
Watch the wind, whistling the same bars
Watch the clouds, humming a few notes
Watch yourself, aren’t you still empty?
Before you there was me before me there was you
Watch the storm, it’s banging the old piano
Watch the skies, they are turning up a mean tempo
Watch the trees, sighing the same old songs
Watch the leaves, cranking out their last notes
Watch the sand, it’s blowing out a last melody
Watch the rocks, clanging out a rhythm
Watch the waves, indulging in a coda
Watch all of them, preparing an encomium
Watch the sand-clock, it’s time to spin again
Watch yourself, aren’t you still empty?
Before you there was me before me there was you
Watch the waves, greet you and go by again.

Creative Destruction

This commences a foray into dis-assembling everything that ever was and will be, and to re-assemble them ....... and pray that a kitchen disaster doesn't take place.
